Feature Demonstration

Mulching equipment

Our machine is a Caterpillar 299D2 XHP CTL (Compact track loader) the biggest and baddest compact track loader out there. It’s coupled with an AFE Extreme disc mulcher. This combination of the two in action has to be seen to be believed. Our equipment is transported on a tipper truck and plant trailer combination. We are located in Agnes Water on the Central Coast, but we can travel anywhere, servicing all areas of Queensland.

Types of land clearing

Our mulching services can be used for small and large vegetation clearing projects, domestic or commercial or rural. Roads, highways, pipelines and other utilities benefit from land clearing. Our equipment has a mulching disc which easily takes care of any difficult tree and vegetation clearing. We can take care of overgrown sections of land through to clearing trails and walkways in areas of forestry.

Benefits of mulching

Our equipment clears land, trees and brush with limited disturbance to soil or desirable vegetation. The remaining mulch can be left on the ground, which in turn acts as an erosion barrier while returning nutrients back into the soil through decomposition. Over time, grass will naturally grow through the mulch. This can be maintained with mowing.

In comparison, traditional land clearing methods often present an increased risk of erosion. Pushing over trees can substantially disturb soils and leave unsightly stumps and roots. Burning will release carbon dioxide and pollutants into the air.

Mulching is the faster and more eco-friendly way of clearing all types of vegetation by putting all the nutrients back into the earth. By choosing to land clear with a tractor mulcher you can dramatically improve soil productivity, conserve moisture in the ground and reduce weed regrowth.

Our portable mulcher has the ability to operate on slopes and in small or tight areas. Poor ground conditions and wet weather are no problem.

Exceptional service with quality outcomes.

At Back to Earth Mulching, safety and environment are key concerns: We will satisfy the needs, requirements and expectations of our customers with a culture of safety, quality and environmental responsibility. We meticulously maintain our equipment. An experienced owner operator provides quality service for all of your projects, no matter how big or small – from driveways and vegetation management through to large blocks of land that require heavy-duty mulching, tree removal and excavation.
